Whether you are designing a sermon series package or just a stand-alone message package, you would most likely have the following:

  • Title Slide
  • Scripture Slide
  • Keypoint Slide
  • Lower Thirds
  • Social Media Quotes

  1. Consistency
    1. It is extremely important that all of your slides match your title slide. Being consistent takes you to the next level in marketing and branding. People automatically relate information together because it looks alike.
  2. Simplicity
    1. It can be easy to overwhelm information on one slide. Your slides should be easy to follow along and have important information you want everyone to remember. When creating scripture slides, it is best to make it big enough for everyone to read easily, but not confusing. I recommend only putting one verse per slide. Of course, there are some exceptions to this depending on how the speaker is reading it.
  3. Shareable Content
    1. Depending on your setup, you may be using full-screen slides or lower thirds. I always include the social media handles for churches on their full-screen graphics for key points, or quotes. For lower thirds, it is easy to slide in a hashtag or social media handle on the bottom of the screen.

I’m including a free generic sermon package for you to use.
